    2. It really was so sad when I could not find an owl in the animals section. Yes, it really wold have been owltastic-only if I made my voki on time.

  7. WHAT IS A VOKI?
A voki is a digital, voiced, animated video that can be posted to a blog.

To access the voki website, search voki.com, and there you can create your own character, have a distinguishing background and select the colour of the video player. When creating a character, click on ‘Customise your own character’, and select characters in areas such as ‘Animals’, ‘Classic’, ‘Dogs’, or ‘3D’. You can also record your own voice, using a microphone or typing your wording up. After you have created a voki, you can embed it in a blog or another website.

But how exactly do you embed the voki? Click on ‘publish’, and copy the long code the computer displays. When in your blog, click ‘Sign in’ on the top right of the screen. Then enter your email and password. Next to an orange pencil is an arrow button, if which you click on has a list of options. Click on ‘pages’, and then ‘edit’ on your page. Then paste the code you picked up from the voki website in a large white space. After that, click on the orange ‘update’ button, and then your voki is embedded.

This recently created web 2.0 learning tool is now popular throughout the world.

  8. Hi Ben, I am so glad you enjoyed the course so much! I also wish it didn't need to end. 5 weeks just doesn't seem long enough.

  9. HOOOOOOOOOOT Ben, this is great! Why did you choose the Winter Olympics to study? Did you find anything out about Eddie the Eagle? He was a British Skier. Highly amusing!
    Great Glog!

  11. Hi Ben,
I like how you chose winter animals for your Voki's to go with your Glogster theme. That was COOL.
I also liked your Glogster as you had included lots of different elements which worked really well together.
Thank you for letting us see them. I am really impressed.
