Congrats on completing your outstanding Glog Liam! I can tell this has not been copied and then pasted right off the internet. You have spoken with your own voice and also expressed what you think and the key facts you found out.
Great voki Liam. What a great learning goal - quite appropriate for our online learning course! I am sure you are already learning quite a lot. I agree with your favourite food choice!
Liam- you are a red narwhal with a sharp looking knife in your middle! That surprised me. :) I like your goal a lot and can see you steadily working towards it. Well done Liam.
What an impressive Glogster Liam. You have completed a lot of research to answer your question - very impressive. I love the personal voice that comes through in your presentation. I have learned a lot! Tino pai Liam.
What is a voki? A voki is a digital tool that you can publish onto blogs and use to learn more about people. Every voki has a little ring around it with a pause\play box and a volume control box at the bottom of it. These tools will help you when you’re listening to what the voki is saying. Also, the character always watches the mouse (if you move the mouse left, the character’s head and eyes will move left to continue watching the mouse). When you press the play button, the voki will start talking for under a minute and you can decide how loud you want the volume to be with the volume control button. If you want to make your own voki and publish it onto your blog (if you have a blog) or something, you go to www.voki.com (P.S the software that you need to make a voki may not work on some computers) and click the button labeled “create.” Next you’ll find a random character in the middle of the page and heaps of buttons surrounding it. If you don’t know what character to create, just click the dice on the bottom-left hand side of the character and the internet will instantly supply you with a random character. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, play around with the buttons with the buttons on the right hand side of the character until you find what you want. Once you’ve finished your character, click the “done” button on the bottom-right hand corner of the page and press the “background” button. Then you select a background that suits you. After that you click the done button again and then press either the micro-phone button or the computer key at the top of the screen. If you press the micro-phone button, you can use a micro-phone (if your computer has one) to record your voice onto the computer. If you press the computer key button, you can type in what you want your voki to say. Once you’ve finished deciding what you want your voki to say, you press the arrow-pointing-right around the other buttons for making the voice. Next you press the “publish voki” button around the top of the page, and then press the blue button named “copy.” Then you go into your blog and press paste to embed your voki into your blog!!! So that’s what a voki is, a very interesting digital tool.
